Application Note: Citrus Aromas Essential Oils
Essential oils have a broad range of application, as they can be both a finished product and an ingredient or intermediate in the creation of other products. Due to this versatility, the analysis of essential oils is an important area of research with a variety of analytical objectives. In this work, we use GC-MS for the characterization and comparison of two citrus essential oils: lemon and lime.
